My roommate Anne Caroline and I did not realize what a big deal it was for us to have control of our own thermostat in our room until we lost control of it when maintenance turned the heat on in November. Since then, the random hot spells have been miserable in the sauna that is Lieschuck, and we've had to leave all the windows open plus have small fans going 24/7 just to stop the sweating. Starting mid-February, winter left, and it's been mid-60s every single day, but the heat continued to blow. But, this week, we walked in the room one day to find cool air blowing and our thermostat back in our control. This may not seem like that big of a deal, but we literally screamed and jumped up and down as we turned the temperature back down to 68ยบ!
And now, Leischuck is back to our comfortable little climate controlled home. AC = no complaints (:
