This afternoon at Winter Conference, we got the chance to explore Fall Creek Falls state park which included getting to hike down and around this beautiful waterfall. Maybe it was because I haven't seen a waterfall in a while, but I was so excited to get to hike down to the falls and climb up in the rocks behind it (little white dots on rocks = people!) When Erin saw the waterfall, she immediately shouted "Avatar!" and then everyone with us agreed that this waterfall and the mountains spotting the panorama completely reminded us of the movie. And that fact which shows that the amazingness of nature is something we see far too infrequently makes me wish that I lived in a place like this so I could see a view like this everyday! God showing Himself in nature like this absolutely thrills my heart and blows my mind. It is so cool to me when I get to experience God's power and gorgeousness in ways like this, and I love it! (:
