February 7th I wrote about Erin being awesome and buying us tickets to see Steve Moakler and Ben Rector in Birmingham..well tonight was the night!! Erin, Kristi, Kristi's sister Ashley, and I road tripped up to Bham this afternoon in a surge of planned spontaneity (because who takes a four hour round trip road trip on a random Thursday? - well apparently not me before now. yayy adventures!) And the concert was completely worth the 4 hours on the road. Steve Moakler especially was incredible - better live than recorded - and common consensus between our group was that he slightly outshined Ben Rector (who we have seen before in Auburn and was phenomenal then)! Not hating on Ben, but just appreciating the surprise of Steve's awesome performance. I'm loving that concerts keep on popping up this spring (: I'm so excited for many more spontaneous, music-seeking adventures to come!
