I’ve been spoiled having a summer birthday that meant I got to sleep in, hang out, and just do what I wanted. Through most of high school, I even got to be at Folly Beach with the church for my birthday which was always so much fun. This year, however, felt like my first grown-up birthday as June 6 was also the first day of Summer Programs, which meant up and at school before 7am and dealing with hectic figuring out how things are going to run all summer. But, even though I didn’t get an “All About McCamy” day (which is actually totally fine with me), it was still a great day. I got to be with friends at work (Above: Alyssa teaching on her first day of Camp Wildcat!), and the first day of camps went gracefully without as much stress as we expected (: So Happy grown-up Birthday to me! I’ve felt so blessed today (:
