January 8: The Best Last Dinner of Christmas Break

The one meal I wanted before leaving Augusta for a whole new semester? Takosushi with mom! Hands down first choice!  On the menu:  Mexican shrimp and crab bisque with green chiles. Amazing.  A simple "Rock-N-Roll" - eel, avocado, and teriyaki. Yumm.  And my favorite:  the "Crazy Caprese Salad" - layers of  fresh mozzarella cheese, tomato slices, avocado, and tuna sashimi on a cucumber salad bed drizzled with pesto-wasabi balsamic vinaigrette. To. Die. For.  A delicious meal (that was also photogenic) with great company. 
Just what I needed tonight!
